After Ford’s announcement of the Ford Bronco, we knew we had to get it!
Trying out new cars has been some kind of obsession for us.
However, like many other potential buyers, we were not sure whether it was reliable, considering that the Bronco has not been around long enough like the Jeep.
So, our main concern was how reliable the Ford Bronco is.
We finally got the Ford Bronco, and in this article, we are going to discuss the reasons why we feel it is a good and reliable vehicle.
Reasons why the Ford Bronco is a good and reliable vehicle
NOTE: These reasons are based on our own experience owning a Ford Bronco, The Badlands Edition.
1. Good Reputation
Ford has a good reputation over the years for delivering reliable vehicles and it is on the top of the list of best truck makers in the industry.
2. Smooth and a more comfortable ride on-road
The first thing we noticed after getting the Ford Bronco was how smooth and comfortable its rides are.
Ford has really done a good job on the seats. They are very comfortable. We have gone on long road trips with the Ford Bronco without driver’s fatigue.
The Independent Front Suspension (IFS) also provides better on-road ride quality and performance in terms of speed, traction, and acceleration.

3. The Bronco’s off-road performance depends on the trail’s level of difficulty
When we took the Ford Bronco off-road, its performance varied depending on the type of trail.
It performed very well on easy to moderate trails but not that great on difficult trails.
However, I would also like to mention that, even though it did not perform that well on difficult trails, it still managed to go over some obstacles without any issues.

4. Cargo space and legroom
The Ford Bronco has spacious cargo space. The rear seats also fold down to give you more cargo space.
However, it can be uncomfortable to sleep in the Ford Bronco because the seats don’t fold down perfectly flat.
Ford Bronco backseats are also comfortable and have plenty of legroom.

5. It has an awesome tech
Here are some of the tech features you will find on Bronco.
- Ford Co-pilot
When the co-pilot is engaged, you don’t need to touch the brakes and gas when you are in heavy city traffic jams.
- A super clear 360-degree camera
The 360-degree camera gives you a great view of your vehicle’s surroundings. This is really helpful when you’re offroading.

- 380-degree zone lighting
The zone lighting gives you the ability to turn on lights on different parts of the vehicle.
The main advantage of this feature is that it helps when I’m driving on a trail when it’s dark because I can easily spot obstacles.
You can also use it to light up an area at a campsite or look for a good camping spot.

6. The fenders can easily be removed and reinstalled
For someone who loves off-roading, I must say that I appreciate the fact that Ford was clever to put fenders that can quickly and easily be removed and reinstalled.
This is a good thing because I now have the option of removing the fenders when I am going through an obstacle that could damage them.
Finally, I love the large display screen on the Ford Bronco.
That’s it for me, but I will keep updating this list as I gain more experience with my Badlands Edition.
